Through workshops and trainings, facilitators will educate and inform professionals in clinical and/or non-clinical positions of the identification of symptoms, evaluation, and treatment resources available for children, youth and families in greater DC Metropolitan area.  Evidence based concepts and materials will be shared, and techniques taught and practiced during 1-hour, half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) workshops. During this time, attendees will be educated on pertinent research and treatment, and, based upon the workshop topic, will develop skills useful in assisting individuals in areas such as reducing symptoms, decreasing occurrence of inappropriate behaviors, and overall improvement in the quality of life. At the conclusion of the workshop, professionals will have an increased knowledge of the workshop topic and available resources for the professional and clientele.

  • Assessment & Treatment of Youth with Sexual Behavior Problems
  • Addressing the Cycle of Abuse
  • Ethics & Proper Documentation for Clinical and/or Non-Clinical Staff
  • Identifying Signs & Symptoms of Abuse (i.e. Sexual Abuse)
  • Treatment of Individuals with Moderate to Severe Mental Illness
  • Legal Involvement: Subpoenas & Expert Testimony 






Training Institute Cancellation Policy

Once registration funds are submitted (via check, money order, PayPal or cash), refunds will NOT be provided.  Credit in the amount paid will be given to a paid participant upon receipt of cancellation request. Credit remains in good standing for the length of 6 months from the date issued.
